Well there’s a full moon in the Western Sky,
And there’s magic in the air.
Ain’t nothin’ I know of, can make you fall in love,
Like a night at the County Fair –Chris LeDoux

County Fair season is upon us! And I teamed up with THE one + only Rural Haze to bring you some fun, fabulous outfits to sport at your local County Fair.  Whether you are there for the fair food, a concert, to support the 4-H or FFA members or anything else between, I guarantee you will find the perfect ensemble at Rural Haze.

Rural Haze was “founded under the belief that every country girl deserves a smile on her face and accessories that bring out her inner spirit…” That ladies, is one dang true statement!

Local? Check out the store at The Village in Meridian. Not local? Shop 24/7 on their website. And a fun little sidenote: use GRITANDGLAM10 to save a little coin on your new items from Rural Haze.

1.  Desert Child

It’s no secret CACTI are everywhere! And truthfully, I am okay with that ‘cuz I just can’t get enough.  Here I took the so-soft Desert Child Muscle Tee + paired it with T H E most comfortable blazer I ever tried on. It’s fabric is amazing + lightweight; the Prospect Striped Blazer will be the ideal transition piece.

I added these perfect Warm Springs Shorts that are so easily dressed up or down (you might see these again). I topped it off when the Blossom Turquoise Necklace. The Naja on this necklace is my favorite part, totally in love with how dainty it is, yet fits perfectly with the rest of the necklace making quite the statement.

And then going back to the cacti, these McIntire Saddlery Cactus Earrings are practically weightless + great for all day wear.

2. Bell ME

Because nothing goes with bell bottoms like bell sleeves! The moment I laid eyes on the Selma Embroidered Top, I was smitten!

The embroidery on this top is gorgeous + the colors are just to die for.  I love off-the-shoulders tops + the spaghetti string tie straps adds the perfect little bit of flair.

The finishing touch was this red Concho Bolo Necklace. Throw on your favorite jeans + your best boots + you are good to go! (P.S. Rural Haze an INSANE collection of Corral Boots that you should probably check out ASAP! You’re welcome.)

 3. Mother Hustler

This one goes out to all you fair mama’s out there.  Whether you are just trying to survive a night in the carnival or have not only been chasing your kiddos around all week, but a couple fair animals as well— this is for you! Nothing but an adorable, COMFY reminder that you are B.A., you Mother Hustler, you!

The Mother Hustler Tee really can go with anything. It is great alone or as a layering piece. Here I paired it with the North Powder Cardigan that has the fun pom-poms have have been so popular.  Remember when I said you may see the Warm Springs Shorts again? Here they are in Royal blue + they are also available in Coral. I love the tie detail on them.

Again, the small naja gets me! This Silver 3 Tiered Necklace may be dainty, but the three layers are perfect for adding that last little touch of turquoise.

4. Riley Oversized Shirt

I realllllllly love this shirt! I had it styled so many different ways from being by itself, to having it tied up paired with jeans, to leggings + wedges. The Riley Oversized Shirt is a great flowly piece with sleeve ties that are a fun detail.

Here I paired it with some leggings, Rodeo Q belt (Rural Haze carries some adorable Rodeo Quincy tees!) + my hubby’s Herdsman buckle he won back in 2005. (I like to remind him I was only a junior in high school at that time.. haha) But this shirt really can go with anything + is super versatile.

I also scored this necklace at the grand opening of Rural Haze; it’s been one of my favorites!

||B O N U S Outfit ||

While I may not wear this to a county fair, I couldn’t help but share.  I bought this Antelope Jumpsuit for a wedding + loved it so much I couldn’t wait until the wedding to take it for a spin!

And there you have it. County fair outfits that are suitable for any activity you decide to participate in–Carnival rides, 4-H + FFA auction, concerts, demolition derby or just enjoying the people watching.   These pieces are all great on their own + could be used in such a variety of outfits.

H U G E thanks to Rural Haze for letting me do this collaboration + Maggie Malson Photography for making me feel like some kind of model.  When you have those two supporting you, it’s impossible not to look good 🙂  And remember, when shopping at the Rural Haze use GRITANDGLAM10!
